Ricardo J. Pena
With a background in both business management and title insurance sales, Ricardo J. Pena is one of the very few real estate agents who truly understands their role as a transaction manager and how important it is to have a great understanding of all aspects of a real estate transaction. He efficiently manages the buying or selling process for every client; step by step throughout the entire transaction.
Born and raised on the south shore of Long Island, Ricardo attended SUNY Farmingdale where he attained a B.S. in Business Management before embarking on a career in the real estate industry. Ricardo has worked in the real estate industry for over 10 years primarily as a title insurance executive for one of the nation’s largest title insurance providers, Fidelity National Title (FNT). During his time there, he successfully created new business opportunities for FNT throughout long island and the 5 boros. He has also closed over 2,500 closings as a title closer. In that role, he learned about the many issues that come up on a title search and how to clear them. This experience helps him identify potential problems with a transaction before it even starts which allows him to communicate clearly and effectively with his clients about an action plan to either purchase or sell a property. His thoroughness is unique and his ability to guide each client step by step through the transaction process helps his clients close with very little to no surprises.
A first-generation Dominican American fluent in Spanish, Ricardo was raised by blue collar hard working parents and spent much of his childhood idolizing his parents work ethic. From a young age, he developed that same work ethic and an extraordinary natural ability of truly caring about his client’s needs and expectations. While hard work is vital to anyone's success, Ricardo strongly believes that family comes first and should be the foundation to anyone's success. His wife Jennifer, his daughters Ariana and Zoe, and his son Dylan all help Ricardo keep a healthy work/life balance and continuously learn how to care about everything he does. Many real estate agents are great at selling real estate but not many truly care more than Ricardo J. Pena.
